We had a good flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. We had heard horror stories about the place, but it all went smoothly for us. We had to hike across terminals to get to the RER – the underground train. It took ages to get into the city – about an hour. Finally we arrived at our hotel, which was very central. We were greeted by the lovely helpful Kim (Aussie) There was a mix up with our room and we ended up being upgraded, so that was good. We took a walk around the city that evening. Wow is was quite amazing. The Notre Dame the Sienne River.
