Up at 6am for the final pack a quick breakfast we walked to the RER managing to miss any rain for the hour trip to Charles De Gaul Airport. Etihad flight was 1.5hrs late departing due to low cloud – arrived at Abu Dhabi at 9pm.
Through transfers and a meal courtesy of Etihad in the terminal, we tried to find a comfy spot to get some sleep – difficult, finally scoring some blanckets which kept us a bit warmer but didn’t enduce any more sleep. headed to the gate at 5:30 but didn’t board Air Berlin Plane until 7:20am. Bouncy flight with poor service from the crew but managed to get some sleep. Arrived Phuket at 6pm.
Pickedup taxi away from the ranks an for 500b on the metre arrived at our booked accomodation at Poppa’s Palace by 8:20pm – looking forward to 10 days to chill out beside the pool and not do to much more.
