We enjoyed 2 nights in Canakkale before ANZAC and another 3 afterwards, a few more than planned but we found it a great place to rest up for awhile with good cheap food and great service

Lovely to hear from you and to receive your comment on our blog. How was Istanbul? Isn’t it just a fab city? We’re in Mardin, SE Turkey, close to the Syrian border. Lovely people. So friendly and ready for a bit of a laugh! So far the bike is holding out (touch wood) and we’ve mostly struck great weather!!! Here for a couple of days, then off to Lake Van after that.
