We enjoyed 2 nights in Canakkale before ANZAC and another 3 afterwards, a few more than planned but we found it a great place to rest up for awhile with good cheap food and great service

Hi Karen, Richard and Georgia
That looks nice and sunny. And a mean spread for lunch! In true Turkish style!
Lovely to hear from you and to receive your comment on our blog. How was Istanbul? Isn’t it just a fab city? We’re in Mardin, SE Turkey, close to the Syrian border. Lovely people. So friendly and ready for a bit of a laugh! So far the bike is holding out (touch wood) and we’ve mostly struck great weather!!! Here for a couple of days, then off to Lake Van after that. Keep in touch and safe journeys. Janine & Arne PS – a great blog, really detailed!!
