Prior to Anzac Day we took a tour of the areas so we were aware of the ‘lay of the land’. Thıs proved worthwhile as we got a Turkish perspective on the events of 1915 from our guide and it helped that we knew where everything was, come the 24th and 25th.
We also found the name of a relatıve of Rıchard’s Great Grandfather’s cousin Charles Pacey on the memorıal wall at Chunuk Bair.
