After being picked up from our Hanoi Hotel at 5:30pm it was great to see the citadel walls as we rumbled into Hue at 7:00am on our sleeper bus with 37+ others (another new experience)
We walked to our hotel which involved crossing several roads and negotiating a big bridge. We quite enjoyed the early morning sights. The Holiday Hotel was welcoming and we got breakfast on arrival. We did some washing and then decided to explore the old part of town the Citadel. Lots of old ruins to see and stories to understand.
Great talking to you last night. Hope all goes to plan over the next few days. Enjoy the chill out time while you can.
