We were sad to leave Hoi An. We decided to make a break and head to the beach at Da Nang (the northern end of the infamous China Beach) to be ready to catch the train at 1:20pm on the 5th for the 16hr trip down to HCMC.This was probably one of finest days we have had so far, but got to the beach a bit late for swimming but still enjoyed a nice beer on the beach. Managed to acquire the VIP suite in the Sunsea Hotel for an outrageous US$22 with a great view from the 6th floor of the sun coming up over the South China Sea in the morning.
